CD8A and neoplasm: The in vivo results showed that after intratumorally injecting the NPs into the primary tumor, followed by 808 nm laser irradiation, the treated mice survived longer than all the other groups, with 65% of the animals still alive after 45 days and a controlled tumor growth in both primary and secondary tumor up to 16 days post treatment mirrored by an increase in CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in the spleen [268].
