An increased permeability of Plasma cells, regulatory (Tregs) T cells, resting NK cells, Monocytes, M0 macrophages, M2 macrophages, and Eosinophils, and a decreased penetration of memory B cells, CD4 memory resting T cells, and neutrophils has been found to be associated with the onset and development of IPF. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
