In LPS-treated RAW264.7 cells and in peritoneal macrophages from endotoxemic murines, nitidine chloride and TOP1 depressors prominently increased the excitation of Akt, a vital signal transducer for IL-10 generation, and suppression of Akt stopped these compounds from elevating IL-10 level and relieving endotoxemia. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is serum lipopolysaccharide activity.
