Studies have shown that high TXNRD1 protein levels are associated with shorter disease-free survival and postoperative distal metastasis-free survival in patients with NSCLC, including some individuals receiving platinum adjuvant chemotherapy (Delgobo et al., 2021; Guo et al., 2021), indicating that TXNRD1 is an important predictor of poor prognosis, which is consistent with our conclusion. This evidence concerns the gene TXNRD1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
