The changes in miRNA and mRNA expression when SNHG16 was knocked down compared to controls were fully consistent with the ceRNA hypothesis (Figure 8), suggesting that the SNHG16-has-let-7b-5p-AURKA axis is present in BC, belongs to the ceRNA regulatory network, and plays an important role in BC prognosis and drug resistance, with potential to become a biomarker in the future.
