We found 56 differentially expressed genes shared in both groups of patients, out of which 15 genes (CPXM1, CLDN15, B7H3, RN7SL2, BANP, ATP2A1, ZNF182, NID1, BDH1, TREM1, CAV2, BAALC-AS2, CATSPERD, PIP4K2B, and PASK) were significantly associated with overall survival of AML patients on the univariate analysis (Figure 3B). This evidence concerns the gene BAALC and acute myeloid leukemia.
