NCOA2 and polycystic ovary syndrome: In the case of endometrial pathology, Lessey's group reported that SRC-3 levels (along with SRC-2 [also known as transcriptional intermediary factor 2 (TIF2)] are markedly elevated in epithelial and stromal cells of secretory-phase endometrial tissue biopsied from patients diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) (40).
