NFKB1 and cancer: This multicomponent approach (a TRAFTAC, dCas9HT7 and a HaloPROTAC) resulted in proteasomal depletion of two disease-causing TFs: NF-κB (a key player in cell proliferation and overactivated in many cancers and inflammatory diseases) and brachyury (involved in tumor migration, invasion, and metastasis, and not expressed in normal adult human cells).
