The PC1 was also associated with lower odds of AKI on day 5 (OR = 0.09, 95% CI: 0.01–0.74; p = 0.024) and the PC2 (encompassing IL-1 receptor (IL-1R), granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), IP-10 and IL-5) was associated with higher odds of AKI (OR = 7.7, 95% CI: 1.06–55.74, p = 0.043, Table 5). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL10 and acute kidney injury.
