In the current study, involving 300 MS patients and 400 from the Spanish population, we did not find any association between the rs1992452, rs951818, and rs878049 variants (the first and the second are now ascribed to the CD4 and the latter to the LAG3 genes) with the risk of MS, both in the whole series and when analyzing male and female genders separately. The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is myeloid sarcoma.
