Among URGTG, three genes, AKT1S1, TNFRSF1B, and CACNA1A, were found to be associated with obesity-related pathways (in KEGG database), which were thermogenesis (hsa04714), the adipocytokine signaling pathway (hsa04920), and type II diabetes mellitus (hsa04930), respectively. This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF1B and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
