Of note, the interesting phase two study by Subbiah and colleagues demonstrated a promising efficacy of dabrafenib (a BRAF inhibitor) and trametinib (a MEK inhibitor) in BRAF p.V600E-mutated biliary tract cancers, with an ORR of 51% and a median PFS and median OS of 9.0 months and 14.0 months, respectively [56]. The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is biliary tract neoplasm.
