MiR-146a can decrease the production of RIG-I-dependent type I interferon (IFN) production through NF-κB signaling by targeting TNFR-associated factor 6 (TRAF6) and Il-1R associated kinase 1/2 (IRAK1/2), thus attenuating the differentiation and polarization of macrophages, regulating inflammatory responses against melanoma. This evidence concerns the gene IFNA1 and melanoma.
