The results showed that the mRNA of DHX9, MELK, and KIF4A in oral squamous cell carcinoma were significantly higher than those in precancerous lesions, indicating that the transcription level of these three genes was increased during carcinogenesis, and the other four genes may play roles in promoting tumorigenesis through post-translational modification. This evidence concerns the gene KIF4A and oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma.
