UBA52 and Parkinson disease: Upon obtaining significant results in bridling the effect of transient overexpression of Myc-UBA52 for PD-specific pathological markers (TH and α-synuclein) in an experimental acute model of SH-SY5Y, we next studied the effect of UBA52 in reversing the rotenone-induced PD conditions in differentiated neuronal cells employing SH-SY5Y, N2a and PC12 cells.
