BCHE and diabetes mellitus: The phytochemicals were determined regarding phenolics and isoflavones, while the health-related properties against some NCDs were performed through the in vitro inhibition of key enzymes including lipase (obesity), α-glucosidase, α-amylase and dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (diabetes), as well as acetylcholinesterase, butyrylcholinesterase and β-secretase (AD).
