TACC1 and cancer: Besides the numerous FGFR alterations in adult cancers [9], some alterations are strongly associated with pediatric low grade neuroepithelial lesions such as FGFR1 duplication, and FGFR1/3-TACC1 or FGFR2-CTNNA3 fusions [41] may be considered as hallmarks of these tumors.
