IL6 and exanthem: Although no significant differences were found in the serum IL-6 levels between patients with and without typical rashes or atypical rashes, the levels tended to be higher in the patients with typical skin rashes (76.2 [23.5–207.3] vs. 30.4 [12.2–54.6] pg/mL, p = 0.12) and lower in those with atypical skin rashes (27.9 [9.2–60.2] vs. 64.9 [25.7–197.3] pg/mL, p = 0.14).
