As expected, the proportions of cases with a high expression of SLC7A11 and GPX4 were 62.50% (30/48 cases) and 68.75% (33/48 cases), respectively, in platinum‐resistant ovarian cancer tissues and only 9.03% (13/144 cases) and 7.64% (11/144 cases), respectively, in platinum‐sensitive tissues, both of which were significant (both p < 0.001) (Tables 1 and 2). This evidence concerns the gene GPX4 and ovarian carcinoma.
