The most frequently prescribed substance groups of COPD patients with overdosed inhaled medication were agents for acid-related diseases (71%), agents to influence lipid metabolism (57%), diuretics (46%), antithrombotic agents (43%), angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin receptor blockers (43%), antidiabetics (39%), beta-blockers (32%), and calcium antagonists (32%). Here, ACE is linked to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
