PTK2 and urinary bladder cancer: Neoh et al. [24] found that flaccidoxide-13-acetate, a compound obtained from soft coral Cladiella kashmani, reduced the migration and invasion of bladder cancer cells by inhibiting the expressions of MMP-2, MMP-9, and uPAR, and increasing the expressions of TIMP-1 and TIMP-2 proteins, which are mediated by regulating the FAK/PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway.
