CDC25A and neoplasm: CDC25A (cell division cycle 25 A) was considered as an essential mediator in the process of hypoxia-mediated cell cycle arrest, and Queiroz de Oliveira [27] recently demonstrated that CDC25A protein and mRNA levels decreased in human tumor cells under hypoxia conditions, proposing a new hypothesis that hypoxia-mediated reduction of CDC25A might confer protection from hypoxic conditions, contributing to cell survival.
