The results indicated that FERMT2 expression had significant negative correlations with tumor purity (Rho = -0.37, P = 1.10e-14) and the infiltration levels of dominant immune cells, including B cells (Rho = -0.338, P = 8.76e-09), CD4+ T cells (Rho = -0.468, P = 2.44e-16), CD8+ T cells (Rho = -0.214, P = 3.45e-04), NK cells (Rho = -0.133, P = 2.71e-02) and macrophages M2 (Rho = -0.292, P = 1.95e-09) in CRC (Fig 4A). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
