ALB and Miyoshi myopathy: To adjust for confounding due to imbalances in clinically important prognostic factors, comparative analyses were adjusted for the following baseline characteristics (defined based upon clinical expert input and availability in both cohorts): refractory status, extramedullary disease, time to progression on last regimen, number of prior LOTs, years since MM diagnosis, average duration of prior LOTs, age, sex, lactate dehydrogenase, hemoglobin and albumin (sensitivity analyses additionally included cytogenetic risk, MM type and ECOG).
