NPPB and Hypoalbuminemia: Moreover, the laboratory test performed on the 3rd day of admission showed an increase of the CRP value (216.65 mg/L), and the persistence of elevated NT-proBNP (9,884.2 pg/mL) and D-dimer (1,198 ng/mL), associating also hypoalbuminemia (2.45 g/dL).
