To investigate if PIP5K1α plays a role in MakA-dependent suppression of tumour cell proliferation, HCT8 cells were treated with (i) MakA, (ii) PIP5K1α inhibitor, ISA-2011B [63], or (iii) a combination of MakA and ISA-2011B, and cell proliferation was quantified using a Clonogenic assay. Here, PIP5K1A is linked to neoplasm.
