We previously reported that the CD27–CD70 interaction is responsible for the initial priming of antigen‐specific T cells and that children born with CD70 germline mutations are at increased risk for the development of EBV‐driven B‐cell lymphoma, probably due to the impaired antiviral functions of CD70‐deficient T cells.10 This evidence concerns the gene CD70 and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
