To determine which member or members of the TRIM family play a pro- or anti-oncogenic role in glioma development and progression, we first investigated the expression levels of TRIM family members in the publicly available TCGA-GBM, GSE108474 and CGGA datasets (Fig. 1a and S1a, b; Supplementary Table S1). The gene discussed is TRAT1; the disease is glioblastoma.
