Among the maternal outcomes, we found an extremely high case fatality ratio (26.2%) compared with similar studies [16, 36], associated with the presence of poor prognosis markers such as elevated lactate dehydrogenase, C-reactive protein, ferritin, and D dimer, as well as thrombocytopenia and lymphopenia [30, 37–49]. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and Thrombocytopenia.
