We found that the expression of epithelial markers, including E-cadherin (ECAD) and Claudin 7 (CLDN7) (Fig. 2a, b; Supplementary Fig. 3d), and premigratory markers (MSX2, DLX5, SOX9; Fig. 2c; Supplementary Fig. 3d) was strongly upregulated, while the transcript levels of postmigratory markers (p75, SOX10, SNAI2) were notably decreased in the DS group compared to the control group (Fig. 2d; Supplementary Fig. 3h). This evidence concerns the gene SOX10 and Dravet syndrome.
