Interestingly, IL-6 receptor levels have been reported to reflect OSA severity (Zheng et al., 2018); FOS, FOSB, and JUN have been demonstrated to be involved in obesity, osteoporosis, and colorectal cancer (Skrypnik et al., 2017); and DUSP1 is upregulated in CIH in OSA patients (Hoffmann et al., 2013). This evidence concerns the gene FOSB and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
