Several studies indicated that the abnormal expression of THAP9-AS1 played a crucial regulatory role in the carcinogenesis of liver cancer, osteosarcoma, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, and pancreatic cancer (Jia et al., 2019; Li N.et al., 2020; Cheng et al., 2021; Yang et al., 2021; Su et al., 2022). This evidence concerns the gene THAP9 and liver cancer.
