TP53 and neoplasm: In addition, in vivo SA-β-Gal staining results showed that senescent cells were significantly increased in the tumor tissues of the iacritin-treated group, and a significant increase in the expression of senescence-related proteins such as P53 in the tumor tissues, consistent with the in vitro cellular results (Figure 6E; Supplementary Figure S3), further demonstrating that icaritin exerts its anti-tumor effects by inducing nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell senescence.
