The amount of C20:5 and C22:5 was significantly reduced in ASPP2+/- mice at 10 days compared to WT mice (p<0.01) but increased at 40 days (Figures 3I, K, M), suggested that ASPP2 deficiency may affect long-chain fatty acids metabolism in early-stage of NAFLD. This evidence concerns the gene TP53BP2 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
