An AXIS tool analysis of 6 of the included articles [38–43] revealed that 78.70% of articles found a positive correlation [39, 41, 42], 6.48% found no correlation [40], and 12.96% of articles [38, 43] were inconclusive with respect to the ascertainment of a link between the presence of oral FN species and BC in adult women (Supplemental Appendix: Figure 1).
