NFKB1 and diabetes mellitus: Diabetes causes osteoblasts apoptosis, impairs differentiation of these cells, and also promotes osteoclast differentiation both in in vivo and also in vitro if cells encounter the combination of glucose, free fatty acids (similar to in vivo environment of diabetes especially type 2), and SIRT 1 by suppressing via p66Shc/ROS/NF-κB axis has inhibitory effects on this pathway [120] .
