In summary, we identified 11 types of fibroblasts and myofibroblasts, including OGN+PI16+, OGN+IGF1+, OGN+KCNN3+, CXCL14+ADAMDEC1+, CXCL14+NRG1+, CXCL14+VSTM2A+, CXCL14+INHBA+, HHIP+, RGS5+ACTA2hi, RGS5+CD36+, and CCL19+ fibroblasts and myofibroblasts, which exist in human colon mucosa and in colon cancer tissues (Fig. 7). This evidence concerns the gene CD36 and colonic neoplasm.
