We found that TRIMs scores were significantly positively correlated with immune regulatory factors in the majority of cancers (Fig. 4A), such as MHC class I member HLA-A/B/C, BTN3A family activating T cells, interferon related factors (IFNA1, IFNG), TNFRSF14, which is a member of the pro-inflammatory tumor necrosis factor superfamily (TNF) and oncogene CD274 (PD-L1) (Additional file 1: Fig. S6A). The gene discussed is IFNG; the disease is cancer.
