METTL4 and neoplasm: Since METTL4 is essential for hypoxia-induced tumor progression, we analyzed the RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) results by Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) from two cell lines treated with hypoxia vs. normoxia and hypoxic status undergoing METTL4 knockdown vs. hypoxia control knockdown (cut-off by false discovery rate q-value < 0.05) (GSE171115) (Additional file 1: Fig. S4a, b).
