HRAS mutations are very common in cancer and G12D variant is primarily found in bladder urothelial carcinoma, cutaneous melanoma, infiltrating renal pelvis, ureter urothelial carcinoma, melanoma, and colorectal adenocarcinoma (The AACR Project GENIE Consortium et al., 2017). The gene discussed is HRAS; the disease is bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
