The supplementation of Faecalibacterium prausnitzii to CKD mice reduced renal dysfunction and inflammation by the Faecalibacterium prausnitzii-induced butyrate–renal GPR-43 axis (85), whereas F. prausnitzii supplementation may alleviate BP in patients with CKD-induced hypertension.
