TSGA10 and breast carcinoma: Tanaka et al. (2004) observed TSGA10 overexpression in 4 of 20 patients with HCC, two of whom showed antibodies against recombinant TSGA10 protein. TSGA10 was also suggested as a potential biomarker in cancer tumorigenesis (Mobasheri et al., 2007). Dianatpour et al. (2012) observed upregulated TSGA10 expression in breast cancer cell lines and suggested its important role in breast cancer proliferation and prognosis.
