The DEGs were mainly enriched in the biosynthesis of amino acids, microRNAs in cancer, the phagosome, human papillomavirus infection, steroid biosynthesis, Alzheimer’s disease, colorectal cancer, fatty acid metabolism, the MAPK signalling pathway, Epstein-Barr virus infection, apoptosis, the AGE-RAGE signalling pathway, ECM-receptor interaction, cellular senescence, the PI3K-Akt signalling pathway, pancreatic cancer, and the lysosome. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
