HNRNPA2B1 and plasma cell myeloma: In the presence of RANKL, coculture of precursors of osteoclasts (preOCs) with myeloma cells expressing high levels of hnRNPA2B1 (shCtrl RPMI8226 or A2B1 MM.1S) induced more multinuclear tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase-positive (TRAP+) cells formation (Figure 3A-B), TRAP 5b secretion (Figure 3C), and osteoclast gene expression (Figure 3D-E) than in those cocultured with low hnRNPA2B1 myeloma cells (shA2B1 or Vec).
