LUCAT1 is located in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and may play a regulatory function in many cancers, such as lung cancer,[25] clear cell renal cell carcinoma[26] colorectal cancer[27] HCC.[28] Jiao et al[29] conducted a retrospective analysis of HCC patients and found that LUCAT1 was highly expressed in HCC tissues and its active expression was usually negatively correlated with the survival cycle of patients, so LUCAT1 was used as a biomarker to predict the prognosis of HCC patients. This evidence concerns the gene LUCAT1 and lung carcinoma.
