BUB1B and TTK expression in LUAD is higher than in non-tumor lung tissue and negatively correlated with OS.[27]BUB1B overexpression significantly reduces OS in LUAD patients.[28] In addition, UBE2C expression is associated with poor LUAD patients’ prognosis undergoing surgery.[29] In gastric cancer, overexpression of the mitotic checkpoint gene BUB1 is associated with tumor cell proliferation and gastric cancer progression.[30] These results suggest that BUB1, BUB1B, TTK and UBE2C may be targets genes for the treatment of LUAD. The gene discussed is UBE2C; the disease is neoplasm.
