Based on CXCR2’s pivotal role in liver inflammation, many efforts have been taken to establish a CXCR2-related treatment for liver diseases, including alcohol-associated liver disease (ALD), non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), viral hepatitis, ischemia & reperfusion injury (I/R injury), cirrhosis, and fibrosis. Here, CXCR2 is linked to animal viral hepatitis.
