The results confirmed that in comparison with healthy donors, the expression levels of IL21‐AS1 and IL21 were notably increased in CD4+ T cells of SLE patients (Figure 1C), which was also positively correlated with IL21 transcription level and SLEDAI scores of SLE patients, suggesting IL21‐AS1 may be associated with the development of SLE (Figure 1D). Here, CD4 is linked to systemic lupus erythematosus.
