We used a mouse model that recapitulates the neuroendocrine aspects of PCOS to test the hypotheses that intrinsic properties of GnRH neurons change during typical development, and that these developmental changes are altered by PNA treatment (Roland and Moenter, 2011; Moore et al., 2015; Dulka and Moenter, 2017; Berg et al., 2018). This evidence concerns the gene GNRH1 and polycystic ovary syndrome.
