Normal CRP levels (< 5 mg/L) were found in 27/148 (18%) patients, while 87/148 (59%) patients had a CRP level up to 10-fold higher than the standard (5–50 mg/L), and more than 10-fold elevated CRP levels (> 50 mg/L) appeared in 34/148 (23%) patients with CMML. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia.
